Bloomin' Marvellous
Faced with such an array of colours and species, you be dazzled by a springtime visit to a garden in 1066 Country.
Many of our gardens hold special events to celebrate treasured spring species. Snowdrops and crocuses are celebrated at Great Dixter, the former home of experimental gardener Christopher Lloyd, and the season matures, tulips, roses, daffodils, hyacinths and sweet peas come into bloom at our other gardens; Pashley Manor, Merriments, King John's Lodge and Herstmonceux.
Some of our gardens hold gardening workshop events so you can take a piece of spring's natural beauty back to your own garden. Sessions planned for 2008 include propagation and planting in a mixed border.
Visit our Parks, Gardens and Countryside Attractions area for addresses and opening times of our stunning gardens.
