Marsh Link

By following the railway line between Hastings and Ashford you can cross the stunning Romney Marsh and pass through the 'Ancient' towns of Rye and Winchelsea.

Along the way you'll find a huge variety of walks and cycle routes, some covering local nature reserves and others following the Royal Military Canal.

The Cuckoo Trail

Winding through the Wealden countryside linking Eastbourne, Pevensey, Polegate, Hailsham, Horam and Heathfield, this 16 mile (25 kilometre) disused railway line features fantastic public art along the way with a cuckoo hidden in each of the pieces!

Pett Pools Nature Reserve

The perfect location for bird watching and discovering rare . The terrain might be hard going but it's certainly rewarding.
