Bedgebury
The National Pinetum houses the largest collection of conifers on one site in the world. The collection includes over 10,000 trees and shrubs from all five continents, many of which are rare and endangered. The Pinetum is a beautiful, safe place to walk or picnic for the whole family, who will no doubt enjoy the birds, butterflies, dragonflies and the tallest tree in Kent!
In the forest, the cycle trail is one of Sussex's finest with an 'easy route' and a more challenging version for serious cyclists who like to go off road. There is also a state of the art adventure play trail, and a Go-Ape highwires course.
This is one of 1066 Country's fastest developing attractions with everything from pop concerts (James Morrison, UB40 and Travis) to walking and cycling clubs.
